The service

canagentsbuyfromyou analyses a publicly reachable online store and measures how well an AI shopping agent can discover it, understand it and transact with it. The analysis targets the public endpoints of the store you submit; results are scored and kept so you can follow how they change over time.

The service never completes a purchase: the carts and checkouts created during an audit are tests, abandoned right away, and no payment is ever submitted.

The service is at an early stage. Checks, scores and thresholds evolve along with the agentic commerce protocols they rely on: a score obtained today is not necessarily comparable to one obtained months from now. An audit is not a certification.

Acceptable use

You audit stores you own, or stores you are mandated to audit. Automated auditing of a third-party store without permission is not an acceptable use of this service.

Do not use the service to overload a store, to work around its rate limits, or to resell raw audits as a product of your own without a prior agreement. Quotas apply per account, and usage that degrades the service for other users may be throttled or suspended.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. A score is an indication, not a promise that an agent will succeed on your store; conversely, a failing check is not proof that your store is broken.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost sales or lost data arising from use of the service or from decisions made on the basis of an audit. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you have paid for the service over the twelve months preceding the claim.

Your data and your audit results

The stores you submit and the audit results attached to your account belong to you. We keep them to display your history, compute your trends and operate the service.

We may use aggregated, anonymised statistics — for example the distribution of scores across all audited stores — to improve the checks and to publish market-level findings. Nothing that identifies your store or your account is published without your agreement.

You can request deletion of your account data at any time by writing to the address given below.

Scanning and publishing results for third-party domains

canagentsbuyfromyou may analyse any publicly reachable domain and publish factual technical results about it, including when the analysis is requested by a third party or started on our own initiative, and without the prior agreement of the domain concerned. These results — in particular a score tier, a public ranking and a per-domain page — describe technical facts observable from the outside: the presence or absence of standard files and endpoints, exposed protocols, public configuration details. The restriction set out above (“Acceptable use”) governs what you do through your account; it does not limit the analyses we carry out for our public publications.

This is separate from the detailed audit results attached to your account, which stay private and are not published without your agreement, as stated in the “Your data and your audit results” section.

These results concern how technically ready a domain is for AI agents, at a point in time. They are not an assessment of the company operating the domain, of its products or of its trustworthiness, and must not be presented as such. As with an account-linked audit, a failing check points to a possible fix, not a proven defect.

No personal data identifying an individual is published: results are limited to technical measurements attached to a domain name. The aggregated, anonymised statistics described above follow the same rules.

A domain owner, or their agent, can write to us at the address given below to report a factual error, request a fresh analysis, or request removal of the corresponding public entry. We correct any established technical inaccuracy as soon as we can. We act on removal requests, except where keeping the information serves a legitimate public-information interest; in that case we explain why, and the entry stays limited to observable technical facts.

Account termination

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. A paid subscription is cancelled from the billing portal and stays active until the end of the period already paid for.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that puts the service or the audited stores at risk. Where possible, we explain why beforehand.
